Smart Auto-Cut

Automatically trims idle cursor time and loading screens for tighter videos by default.

Updated over a week ago

When you record your screen, the AI-generated narration (created from your transcript) is often shorter than your original audio. If you leave parts of the video where nothing happens—like an idle cursor or loading screens—you’ll end up with awkward silences.

To prevent this, you’ll be prompted to apply automatic enhancements when creating a new project.

Smart Auto-Cut is enabled by default. It analyzes your recording and automatically trims idle sections and loading screens to create a smoother, more natural flow—eliminating dead space where the mouse isn’t moving.

If you want to revise auto-cuts or fine-tune your recording with manual cuts enter the Cut tool to make manual adjustment.
